Global Exchange Rates

Reference rates for the first batch of public currencies, presented as a delayed snapshot that is easy to browse, compare, and search without implying execution-grade pricing.

Base currency switching updates the snapshot table. Search stays inside the first-batch visible FX set from the strategy document.

Base currency

The backend is expected to normalize non-USD bases from a USD-first upstream store, so the overview page stays consistent even when the source provider defaults to USD.

FX data is temporarily unavailable

The page shell is live, but the expected FX overview contract did not return usable rows yet. The frontend is waiting for a latest-rate response compatible with `/api/markets/fx/overview` or `/api/markets/fx/latest`.

What this FX page is for

This overview is designed for browsing, comparison, and lightweight research. It intentionally avoids broker-style execution cues and instead emphasizes source transparency, freshness, and delayed reference usage.

Why the rate can differ from your actual conversion

Card networks, banks, remittance providers, and brokers all add spreads, fees, and their own timing rules. The numbers here are reference rates, not executable quotes.
